More Apples are Ready Now!

I just went thru the orchard this morning and and the following varieties are now ready:

The Galas are ready to pick!
The Honeycrisp are ready
Three rows of Jonagold are ready
One row of Ruby Mac.
We also have a limited amount of pears.
And don't forget to get one of Erin's Mums for your yard.
See you at the farm.
Grandpa is still cruising around in his Gator, he's 89 now.
He originally planted this orchard in 1960.

We are also selling chrysanthemums this year. Right now, the red chrysanthemums are showing color but soon there will be white, purple, yellow and orange. Chrysanthemums are perennials and will come back every year if it is an average winter. They are beautiful with lots of color! And 2nd year if planted in proper soil, will grow huge. I've seen some that grow 2 ft wide!

Every year we always have the 1st graders over from the school across the street to make apple cider. The kids always have a lot of fun and get to take the cider home that they made!
